The most recent developments in thermo-hydraulic systems include radiant panel floor systems, both for heating and cooling. They consist of coils of pipes installed directly under the floor, within which cold or hot water flows, depending on the season.

The advantages of underfloor systems include more efficient heat distribution, both by convection and radiation, and reduced energy consumption compared to other systems. They are also concealed, suitable for small rooms.
